You can configure Policy Patrol to either add or suppress an email signature or disclaimer when a code is found in the subject. To do so follow the next steps:
- Go to Rules > Disclaimer rules.
- Open up your Disclaimer rule. Click on the name of your disclaimer template in blue at the bottom of the Rule descriptions.
- In the 'Add disclaimer/signature' dialog tick the option Use subject code. Then select 'Add only if this code is found in the subject (and remove code)' or 'Do not add if this code is found in the subject (and remove code)' and enter the subject code to be used, for instance SIG1.
- Click OK to save the changes. Click OK to save the rule.
Now, if the entered code is found in the subject, Policy Patrol will add or suppress the email signature (depending on which option was selected) and remove the code.
